Scripture: Hebrews: 13:16
"Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God".
Spread the Love….
Our world is a crazy place, full of opinions and thoughts and ideas. We know the best way to interact with people is to show the love of the Lord, but sometimes it’s hard to know how to do this. Ask Him to help you spread His love, He will. You may find a Christian non-profit or charity to volunteer at or you may do something on your own, like help a single Mom pay for her groceries or drive an elderly neighbor to a doctor’s appointment. Spread the love that was spared for you.
Let Us Pray
Father as we approach the holiday's help us be loving and kind to each other. Fill us with discerning to lead a helping hand to others who are in need. Let this season be of forgiving and giving to also to those who have offended us, in
Jesus name Amen

Scripture: James 3:17-18
“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure and full of quiet gentleness. Then it is peace-loving and courteous. It allows discussion and is willing to yield to others; it is full of mercy and good deeds. It is wholehearted and straightforward and sincere. And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of goodness.
God Reveals Himself in Small Things.
In the busyness of life, it can be hard to see and hear where the Lord is leading us. If we simply stop and ask him to reveal himself to us, he will, and it’s usually in awesome, amazing ways. He reveals himself in different ways to each one of us. To some of us, he is an inner voice, to others, he speaks through visions and dreams. He also speaks at times by revealing the job, opportunity, or resources we need exactly when we need them. If you’re really struggling, take some time during the day to just get quiet and ask him to reveal himself in your life. Then get into the habit of noticing the smallest of things during your day. He doesn’t always reveal himself in big ways. Sometimes he reveals himself in small ways as well.
Let Us Pray
Lord help me to stop to hear you in the stillness of the day. Lord, I desire to hear your intentional plans for my life in Jesus name Amen

Scripture: Psalms 51: 12-14
Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation, and uphold me with thy free spirit. Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
The result of David’s repentance is action. He desires to help people by teaching God’s word, helping them to understand salvation, telling of God’s righteousness, and praise to God. He teaches them that God desires the sacrifice of a broken spirit and a broken and contrite heart.
As you continue to ask God to create in you a clean heart begin to share with others how God restored you.
Let Us Pray
Lord, may your restoration include new boundaries around my life. I can’t flirt with sin and not be hurt. In restore me, teach me how to say no again to things which could harm myself or my testimony. If my actions have wounded others, show me where and to whom I need to ask forgiveness or how to make amends. Help me to surround myself with positive encouragers who will hold me accountable and who will speak the truth in love. Truly, shame melts away and we are healed when we confess to others and ask for their help in Jesus name Amen

Scripture: Psalms 51:1-4
"Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according to unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest and be clear when thou judgest."
We Serve a Forgiven God….
Have you succumbed to harmful habits that are hurting your faith and testimony? We’ve all been there at one time or another. If guilt and shame now dot your life, and regrets are filling in the blanks of your story, take heart. God offers love, forgiveness, and restoration.
King David was a great man, a leader of men, and he wrote many of the Psalms. God testified of him, " I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfill my will.” David also had a dark side. Which lead him to write Psalm 51.
David’s heart is broken. He comes with a humble and repentant heart before God. He seeks reconciliation, mercy, and cleansing. He requests that God would restore to him a clean heart, gladness, and the joy of his salvation.
Unconfessed sin will cause you to wither away. We must deal with unconfessed sin in the same way David did. REPENT and go to the foot of the cross and allow Jesus to deal with our sins. First John 1:9 states, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Let Us Pray
Lord Jesus, I’m tired of the sin struggle in my life. I feel distant from You. My choices have not led me to the right places. I’ve listened to the whispers of my enemy instead of Your words in Scripture, and the result has been disastrous.
I once walked with you, my heart tender to Your leading. Yet little by little, I exchanged Your truths for temptations and deceit that led me away from You. Instead of taking thoughts captive and confessing them immediately, I allowed them to grow totally out of control. Repentance was not in my vocabulary. Blame, cover-ups, or trying to reason and rationalize sin never work. They only give birth to deeper sin entanglements.
Today I’m confessing my desperate need for You. You have promised that if we will confess our sin, You will forgive us and make us clean again. Lord, I truly need Your forgiveness. Repentance is on my heart and lips. I want to turn around and head another direction back to You, Lord. But I need Your help. In Jesus name Amen
